Altenew November Challenge

Hey! Welcome to my blog.

    I decided to enter the Altenew November Inspiration Challenge.  I am new to card making, but I love it!!😍 The theme for this challenge is the wonderful autumn colors inspired by this photo:  

        I chose one of the florals and uplifting sentiment from Craft Your Life Project Kit: Florescence & added fall colors from my ink stash. Here is my take on this months card challenge.

 ❆ Let It Snow ❆        The theme for this month is Let It Snow! I decided to create two cards for this challenge.      For my first card, I chose to showcase intricate, blue snowflakes using the  Gina K. Designs Snowflake Die Cover Plate . For the background layer, I added a lighter blue for a classic tone on tone effect. I cut out a sentiment from the Winter Cheer Sentiment Strips  & added some glistening specs with silver jewels.            My second card showcases the beauty of each snowflake.  I stamped three different snowflakes from the Seasonal Sentiments Stamp Set  using Powder Blue, Lovely Lavender, & Plum Punch. I used the coordinating die set to cut the snowflakes. The sentiment is also from the same seasonal stamp set & stamped in the color Plum Punch.  For a layered look, I used a purple base with the additional blue cover. I created some dimension with the medium and large snowflakes by adhering to a raised foam square. I hand cut the bottom layer from 3 pie
